IchiRockU
Inspired by the ramen shop in the beloved anime Naruto, IchiRockU is a dynamic Japanese rock and anime song cover band hailing from New Jersey. Since their inception in 2023, they have captivated audiences at many Anime conventions in the east coast which includes Anime Boston, Anime NYC, Kogaracon, Puchicon, and Sugoipopcon. They’ve also teamed up with prominent anime events hosted by Anime Alliance and Plusultraentertainment. Specializing in anime openings, endings, vocaloid, and popular Japanese rock hits, IchiRockU promises an electrifying performance that never fails to energize the crowd.
Off-Knowneous
Off-Knowneous (オフ・ノーニアス、Ofu Nooniasu, stylised as OFF-KNOWNEOUS), is an Asian American alternative rock band from Bergen County, New Jersey that specializes in covers of music from popular anime as Japanese video game soundtracks. Uniting over the love of both anime and Japanese rock music, OFF-KNOWNEOUS now writes and performs original alt-rock music as well with lyrics in Japanese, English, and Korean. The band is composed of Jooyoung Lee (vocals, rhythm), Michael Cozine (guitar), Jason Mallonga (bass), Roland Jeric Lintag (drums). Starting out as a one time gig, they began to take their activities more seriously after seeing the joy and reactions from crowds. Their musical repertoire and performance style draws from both a love of Japanese music as well as individual members’ histories in the New Jersey underground rock and DIY music scenes. OFF-KNOWNEOUS now aims to deliver the sonic landscape of Asian rock music in a style that is uniquely American in presentation.
StarDrop
StarDrop is a Japanese Pop Rock band delivering bright vocals and upbeat melodies with their youthful, sentimental songs about the bittersweet passage of time. Their songs are a colorful blend of girl's rock, power pop, and J-Rock with an anime-inspired style. Initially drawing influence from Vocaloid, J-Rock, and music anime like K-On!, StarDrop has since grown into a style all their own featuring enchanting vocals, energetic synth leads, and driving rhythms.
StarDrop comprises Seira on vocals and guitar, Mari on keys and backing vocals, Haru on bass, and K on drums. While each member has different tastes in music, these differences serve as a constant source of inspiration that is integral to StarDrop's style and sound. The band released their first single Warp Driver in 2025, and have been hard at work in the studio recording new material and fresh arrangements of their older favorites. Their next single, Bitter Coffee Blues, is planned for release in Fall 2025.
